Pinhoe Target Shooting Club based in Exeter are again celebrating good fortune having beaten Worplesdon Target Rifle Club from Guildford in the first round of the National Smallbore Rifle Association’s Team of Four Championship.

G Cann, L Agates, J Newton and M Taylor made up the team who scored 788 from a maximum 800 to beat the Worplesdon team who scored a respectable 776. Pinhoe’s score was the highest recorded in Round 1 and they are now one of six teams remaining in the competition.
