I have to pass on the very sad news that Bernard Schwarz died at home, on Wednesday of this week. Bernard was one of the very best bench rest shooters in the county, and many of you will have shot alongside him at Open Meetings, or in Devon teams; he will be very much missed, as a shooter and a friend. The family’s wish is that there is to be no funeral service.
